The ideal candidate has a Texas PE license, 3+ years of PE experience in building design, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and coding standards. This is a senior-mid level opportunity in a collaborative firm environment.

Qualifications

• Texas PE license or eligible for transfer to Texas.
• 3+ years as Electrical PE in building design.
• Experience designing power, lighting, and signaling systems.
• Strong communication and project coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution from utility to panels and loads.
• Perform site visits and document existing systems.
• Choose lighting fixtures and controls meeting energy codes.
• Prepare drawings and specifications for codes and standards.
• Create construction documents using AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Conduct photometric studies and power flow analyses.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and officials.
• Develop budgets and track costs.
• Oversee project production to meet schedules and budgets.
• Review construction documents with the Engineer of Record.
