Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Austin, TX. You will develop electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations for power, lighting, and low-voltage systems, and create coordinated 2D/3D models.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders, review RFIs, and support construction administration while pursuing professional growth and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; NCEES record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations across design phases.
• Develop electrical system designs for power, lighting, and LV systems.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D electrical models using CAD tools.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and participate in site visits.
• Coordinate with engineers and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in meetings to communicate progress and resolve design issues.
• Pursue professional development and suggest process improvements.
