Qualifications

• At least 3 years of patent agent experience.
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• USPTO admission is required.
• Ability to work in office 50% of the work week, increasing to at least 80% starting January 4, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Interview inventors for drafting patent applications.
• Draft patent applications and prosecute before USPTO and foreign offices.
• Prepare office action responses for local and international applications.
• File documents with USPTO when required.
• Perform patent searches and analyze disclosures and prior art.
• Coordinate US and foreign prosecution deadlines.
• Interview examiners at the USPTO and collaborate with attorneys and staff.
