You will draft and prosecute patent applications, conduct inventor interviews, respond to office actions, and manage domestic and foreign prosecutions while collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of patent agent experience.
• USPTO admission is required.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventor interviews in preparation for drafting original patent applications.
• Draft patent applications and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO and foreign jurisdictions.
• Prepare office action responses for local and international patent applications.
• File documents with the USPTO when required.
• Perform patent searches and review technical documents for patentability and validity.
• Conduct freedom to operate and competitive landscape searches and review prior art.
• Manage a U.S. and foreign patent prosecution docket and meet deadlines.
• Conduct interviews with USPTO examiners.
• Work with attorneys, agents, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure client service excellence.
