Responsibilities include wiring, connectors, fiber optics, testing, and tool maintenance, with IPC certifications possible. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, plus basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational degree in electrical field preferred.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
• Must supply basic hand tools to perform job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, locate and install wiring circuits, harnesses, cable assemblies, and accessories in shelter systems.
• Install large wire connectors, multi-pin connectors, and fiber optic cables.
• Cut, label, strip, and crimp wires of all sizes using appropriate tools.
• Perform soldering operations when certified, using dedicated equipment.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust tools and equipment for electrical operations.
• Use test equipment to perform continuity tests and troubleshoot wiring installations.
• Operate electrical tools including drills and wire cutting machines.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
