Aerotek is seeking Assemblers for a contract-to-hire role in Lexington, VA. You will wire, assemble and install electrical components in panels, following schematics and work instructions. This onsite position offers steady shifts and competitive pay.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in panel wiring, read schematics, use hand and power tools, and follow electrical codes safely. The role emphasizes attention to detail, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation (circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, PLCs).
• Route and secure wiring neatly for safety compliance.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
