Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking an Electrical Panel Tester to conduct detailed testing of electrical controllers and control panels before shipment. You will follow established procedures, use electrical test equipment, and document results to ensure safety and quality.

You will read schematics, perform wiring verification, and maintain thorough documentation while adhering to lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting using multimeters and basic electrical test equipment.
• Ability to read voltage measurements and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety principles and PPE requirements.
• Ability to document testing results accurately in paper and electronic systems.
• LOTO procedures experience.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and electrical testing on controllers and control panels prior to final approval and shipment.
• Monitor and verify panel operation against specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Document all testing activities in paper and electronic systems.
• Apply lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
• Identify wiring errors and component failures and escalate as needed.
