Job summary

Grahamjobs is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our fabrication and assembly team in Randleman, NC. You will build and wire control panels, troubleshoot electrical issues, and support on-site installations with a hands-on, team‑driven approach.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in panel work, reads schematics, and is familiar with VFDs/PLCs. A strong attention to detail and independent work style are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in control panel or industrial electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, relays, terminal blocks and sensors.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for wiring and assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control panels from electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Wire custom machinery per project specifications and NEC codes.
• Perform I/O checks, continuity tests, and assist in system debugging.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials.
• Document work and communicate discrepancies or changes to engineering.
• Support occasional onsite installations and commissioning.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with UL 508A, NFPA 79, and NEC standards.
