Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Electrical / Panel Shop Technician in Oregon to assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and install electrical systems in industrial chillers. You will work with schematics, PLC hardware, and VFDs while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Experience with hand and power tools needed.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics.
• Install wiring, conduit, relays, contactors, PLC hardware, VFDs, sensors, and terminal blocks.
• Route and terminate wiring neatly and accurately.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Verify component placement and wiring before release to testing.
• Troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues.
• Perform quality inspections of completed work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
