Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams - strong preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to learn to operate assorted power and hand-tools safely.
• Able to read small print, differentiate colors, and compare numbers is essential.
• Good math skills are preferred.
• Able to work independently and with others under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Installs electrical components and assembles them into control cabinets according to layout and schematics.
• Positions and lays out panel with parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Affixes terminals and wiring to the panel as directed by project drawing.
• Installs wire ducts, Din rail, and panel components.
• Crimps, screws, bolts, press fits, or performs similar operations to secure parts in place.
• Connects wires between individual component leads and other components.
