Job summary

Kasa Companies is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to inspect, test, and validate industrial control panels to UL 508A standards and internal specs.

You will perform detailed inspections, document findings, and support corrective actions with Engineering and Production to drive build quality, safety, and consistency across all panels. Strong attention to detail and reading schematics are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in electrical/industrial tech preferred.
• 2–4 years in electrical panel assembly, industrial electrical, or QC inspection.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams clearly.
• Familiarity with UL 508A, NEC fundamentals, and related components; UL certification processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of control panels, backplates, wiring, labels, and components.
• Verify wiring accuracy via continuity and point‑to‑point checks against schematics/layouts.
• conduct power‑up testing and validate I/O operation, device functionality, polarity, fusing, and protections.
• Record results, issue NCRs for deviations, and support root‑cause analysis with Engineering.
• Ensure compliance with UL 508A and NEC, verify BOMs, alternates, ratings, and labeling.
• Maintain calibration of torque tools, multimeters, and insulation testers.
