Job summary

Daedalus Industrial is seeking a QAQC Technician to inspect and ensure the quality of custom electrical panels throughout fabrication and prior to shipping. You will evaluate panels against drawings and standards, document results, and verify corrections before release.

Collaborate with Assembly and Controls Technicians, Project Managers, and the QAQC Foreman to support timelines and quality goals. The role requires reading electrical drawings, performing electrical tests, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints.
• Familiarity with UL 508A and applicable electrical codes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Prior experience in electrical panel assembly, quality control, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure/scale with accuracy.
• Effective problem-solving skills and sound judgment in identifying and resolving quality issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect custom panels to ensure quality and compliance.
• Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and voltage tests.
• Document inspection results and maintain logs and records.
• Read engineering drawings to guide the inspection process.
• Support FATs and interact with customers as needed.
• Coordinate with Assembly Technicians, Controls Technicians, Project Managers, and the QAQC Foreman.
• Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in planning huddles and follow safety procedures.
