Job summary

Campos Fabrication in Shoreview, MN is seeking an experienced QC Technician to validate and check the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels according to schematics and layouts, maintaining our focus on quality assurance and quality control standards. Responsibilities include reviewing wiring, mounting components, labeling, and ensuring compliance with UL508A.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, perform troubleshooting, and ensure safety and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience with control panels and inspections.
• Solid understanding of panel wiring, schematics, and industrial components.
• UL508 knowledge; UL698a is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify wiring of control panels based on schematics and drawings.
• Validate mounting of components like relays, PLCs, and power supplies.
• Review point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and labeling per UL508A.
• Inspect for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with specifications and safety.
• Identify and resolve wiring or component issues during assembly or testing.
• Collaborate with engineers and electricians to align design and build.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Document deficiencies, mark-ups, and as-built records to ensure documentation alignment.
