Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Co. is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Lead to provide hands-on leadership in the Electrical Panel Assembly department.

The role combines technical electrical assembly expertise with team leadership to ensure HVAC panels and remote stations are built safely, accurately, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will mentor teammates, solve production challenges, drive continuous improvement, and uphold a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with formal electrical training.
• Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing and 2+ years wiring HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, dimensions, tolerances.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous lead or mentoring experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the team lead within the Electrical Panel Assembly department.
• Provide day-to-day work direction and guidance to team members.
• Communicate and reinforce production priorities set by the Production Supervisor.
• Train and mentor employees on electrical assembly procedures and best practices.
• Provide performance feedback to the Production Supervisor.
• Support production teams by resolving workflow, scheduling, equipment, and quality issues.
• Serve as backup for leads in other departments when needed.
• Work with teammates to assemble electrical panels and remote stations for HVAC equipment.
• Assemble components according to job specs, drawings, and diagrams.
• Read and interpret drawings, designs, dimensions, and tolerances.
