Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, electrical wiring or controls assembly.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with wire gauges, ampacities, and enclosure ratings.
• Multimeter proficiency for testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to work overtime and support team goals.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams from Team Lead / Engineering.
• Wire control panels and switchboards, build sub-assemblies, install/terminate cables and devices.
• Perform continuity checks and basic testing with multimeters.
• Ensure components/assemblies meet quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with UL891 and NFPA 70E standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production planning for smooth workflow.
• Enforce safety protocols and provide PPE for team members.
• Document production data in Epicor and track issues.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to refine control circuits and panel layouts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or control system issues.
