Job summary

Thermal Care, part of the Piovan Group, is a leading manufacturer of process cooling equipment and systems for applications worldwide. The Electrical Panel Builder/Production Worker assembles electrical systems and installs components in Niles, IL, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities include fabricating electrical sub-assemblies, wiring panels per schematics, testing installations, and maintaining safety and cleanliness on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or ten (10) + years of direct work experience.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of direct/relevant experience based on scope of the position.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate electrical sub-assemblies per detailed instructions.
• Wire custom control panels per detailed schematics.
• Hard wire equipment per drawings.
• Inspect or test wiring installations and record results.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to meet specs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
