Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. seeks an Electrical Panel Builder in the Dayton, OH area for a permanent, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or trade school certificate in electronics or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in panel building, machine wiring or industrial electrical work.
• Working knowledge of 240/480V single and 3-phase circuits and AC/DC control circuits.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics and using hand/power/pneumatic tools.
• Understanding of UL 508A standards is a plus.
• Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and bill of materials to layout components and assemble panels.
• Install electrical components such as contactors, PLCs, VFDs and relays and wire/terminate them.
• Run and pull wiring through conduit and perform final testing of panels for functionality and safety compliance.

I have a client located in Dayton, OH area who is looking for an Electrical Panel Builder . If you or any of your colleagues are interested in discussing this opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and bill of materials to layout components and assemble panels, installing electrical components like contactors, PLCs, VFDs, and relays then wire/terminate them accurately, running and pulling wire through conduit, as well as performing final testing of panels to verify functionality and safety compliance.

This position is a PERMANENT role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked ON-SITE.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required, technical or trade school certificate in electronics or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in panel building, machine wiring or industrial electrical work
• A working knowledge of 240/480V single and 3-phase circuits
• A working knowledge of AC and DC control circuits
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools
• Understanding of UL 508A standards and industrial control systems a plus
• Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and general computer skills
