Equiliem in Houston, TX is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to perform mechanical and electrical assembly of motor control centers, control panels, relays, and related components, reading drawings and wiring diagrams, and testing assembled units.

You will stage materials, maintain production records, and follow safety and quality procedures in a manufacturing setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to operate hand and power tools are essential; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop orders, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform basic wiring, cable installation, crimping, and soldering.
• Ability to identify components, wiring, terminals, and assembly configurations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fit, mount, and wire subassemblies, components, and standard or near-standard assemblies.
• Assemble and wire motor control centers, control panels, relay panels, panel boards, space heaters, and related equipment.
• Perform assembly activities required for testing and final inspection.
• Bend and install power cables and leads.
• Fabricate pre-cable units, MTB and control panel harnesses, and power leads.
