Job summary

Design Ready Controls in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an Assembler I to join our production team. You will perform basic wiring, sheet metal assembly, component assembly and panel wiring, with a basic ability to read schematics and drawings.

You should be comfortable using hand and power tools, ensuring safety and quality while supporting 5S/Lean initiatives and continuous improvement. Competitive hourly pay with great benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read schematics and drawings and learn electrical symbols.
• Experience with basic wiring and panel assembly.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed and maintain quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Verify parts for assembly match the Bill of Materials.
• Assemble electrical panels according to drawings and mount components.
• Terminate wire ends and add terminals for device connections.
• Prepare panels for testing and shipping, label IDs and organize wires.
• Troubleshoot basic panel wiring and identify potential issues.
• Support 5S and Lean Manufacturing initiatives and maintain a safe workspace.
• Participate in training and uphold company core values.
