Job summary

Innovative-IDM in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to join our industrial automation team. This entry-level role supports panel assembly and wiring under supervision, following engineering drawings and UL 508A shop standards.

You will use basic hand tools, read simple schematics, and maintain safety and quality workmanship while developing skills toward the Manufacturing Technician career path. Excellent attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, electrical, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn, follow safety rules, and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control panels and subassemblies according to drawings and layouts.
• Wire components, mount DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays, and PLC hardware.
• Apply workmanship standards and maintain organized, safe work areas.
• Follow safety policies, PPE usage, and LOTO/electrical safety requirements.
• Assist with documentation and quality checks under supervision.
