Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Test Technician in the Portsmouth, NH area for a full-time role focused on electrical, mechanical, or optical testing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and capable of performing a range of tests on components and finished products.

Primary duties include operating and maintaining testing equipment, recording results in the ERP system, and following blueprints and testing procedures to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, electronics, or test technician experience.
• Experience using electrical test equipment such as ohmmeters, megger, and optical testing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and optical testing on components and finished products.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment while ensuring accurate calibration.
• Record test results and enter data into the ERP system.
• Read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and testing procedures.
• Identify and report product or documentation discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area while supporting production and quality goals.
