Job summary

Mechanical One in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to oversee field labor, hire, train, and schedule jobs, including electricians, apprentices, and supervisors. You will manage projects from planning to warranty, require strong electrical expertise, knowledge of NEC and OSHA, and coordinate resources and subcontractors while maintaining high workmanship

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a superintendent on large residential or multi-family projects.
• Familiarity with computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with industry software (Procore, Bluebeam, Spectrum, Top Builder, Service Tech, Smart Sheets, Accubid, Bluebeam).

• Must have strong electrical experience with NEC and OSHA knowledge to support your team.
• Prepare material requests in partnership with Purchasing.
• Attend job site meetings.

• Supervise on-site personnel, peace-rate workers, and sub-contractors.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship per plans and specs.
• Some in-state travel may be required.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

The Operations Manager will oversee all field labor, including hiring, training, and scheduling jobs. This includes all labor in the field including Service Techs, Field Supervisors, Electricians, Apprentices, and Training Labor. They will help to create and oversee the implementation of best practices with the goal of increasing efficiency and operational effectiveness. Direct interaction between both the field personnel and office personnel / Corporate Office and promote Mechanical One Employee Culture. This is a full-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to final inspection and first year warranty
• Must have strong electrical experience with extensive knowledge of both NEC and OSHA to problem-solve and support your team.
• Prepare material request in Partnership with our Purchasing Department
• Attend job site meetings
