Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a growing MEP/building systems team in the Raleigh area. This role focuses on electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects.

You will design, calculate, and prepare construction documents while coordinating with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project success and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required or related field.
• 2+ years of electrical MEP/building design experience.
• EIT or PE preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical building codes.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform electrical calculations and develop construction documents.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
• Support projects from concept through construction administration.
• Work directly with clients, contractors, and project teams.
