Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical MEP Engineer for our Baltimore Suburbs office.

You’ll design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, and mixed‑use projects and contribute to power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low‑voltage designs. Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of electrical MEP experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of electrical MEP engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems and applicable codes.
• Experience with electrical design and construction documents.
• PE/EIT preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, and mixed-use projects.
• Develop power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage designs.
• Perform electrical load calculations and system studies.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
• Support projects from concept through construction.
