Job summary

Middlesex College's Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning department invites applicants to become part-time, non-credit instructors for the Advanced Manufacturing Program, teaching Electrical Mechanical and Troubleshooting in Edison, New Jersey.

The role requires hands-on electrical and electro-mechanical expertise, experience training adults, and the ability to teach on-site or online using provided diagrams and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on field experience installing, repairing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing routine maintenance on electronic, electric, and/or electro-mechanical machines.
• Five years of experience training adults in a professional or industry environment.
• Must have the basic tools, test equipment, parts, and other related hardware needed to conduct the course on-site and/or online.

Responsibilities

• Using analog and digital multimeter to measure resistance, current, voltage and other relevant parameters
• Interpreting electrical wiring diagrams, troubleshooting schematic diagrams, layout diagrams, and ladder diagrams
• Assembling and debugging complete circuits following written instructions and various technical diagrams
