Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our facilities across Wegmans Corporate, Distribution and Manufacturing environments. You will repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors and automated systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an equipment mechanic in manufacturing or distribution.
Proficiency with troubleshooting material handling systems and process equipment, including conveyors or automated systems.
Knowledge of three-phase motors and wiring; experience with electronics and controls.

Responsibilities

Repair and troubleshoot production equipment in facilities, for emergencies and non-emergencies.
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Collaborate with a team to complete tasks safely and promptly.
Maintain open communication with team members and supervisors.
Adhere to food and human safety guidelines while completing tasks.
Maintain Wegmans' high standards of quality at all times.
