Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in Sayre, Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Mechanical to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in a fast-paced woodworking facility.

The right candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical skills, including PLC controls, CNC machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics, and a hands-on approach to minimize downtime while supporting a safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and manuals.
• Working knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment.
• Maintain and repair CNC machines, saws, routers, conveyors, motors, controls, and other industrial machinery.
• Diagnose PLCs, electrical controls, wiring, switches, sensors, and circuit boards.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals and equipment documentation.
• Install, modify and commission new equipment and production systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and take corrective action to minimize production downtime.
• Partner with production teams to identify recurring equipment problems and improve reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities and parts usage.
• Recommend equipment improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
