Job summary

Tyson Foods in New London, Wisconsin is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, including mechanical aspects related to electrical problems.

Responsibilities include installing electrical systems for construction/remodeling, documenting work, and performing preventative maintenance, with strict adherence to safety, GMP and SQF standards. Ability to work overtime and emergencies is required.

Qualifications

Ability to perform basic math
Willing to work overtime and/or weekends
Willing to work on demand in emergency situations
Able to complete CMMS/SAP paperwork

Responsibilities

Install electrical systems for new construction and remodeling in compliance with electrical codes
Provide written record of work and materials used
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment in the plant
Perform preventative maintenance, change outs and setup of equipment
Complete electrical and mechanical repairs
Repair or replace faulty components
Modify equipment to improve efficiency or compatibility with production needs
Maintain clean work areas
Comply with safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
Participate in job rotation and assist management as needed
