Job summary

Experis Technology Group in Austin, TX seeks a Lab Technician – Electrical/Mechanical to support Hardware Validation & Engineering Lab, assisting Platform Validation and Systems Engineering teams with hands-on assembly and testing.

The ideal candidate will have an associate's or bachelor's degree in electronics or engineering or related training, hands-on experience with PCBs and lab equipment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab environment onsite.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Engineering or related field or equivalent training.
• Experience with PCBs, electronic components, and electrical/mechanical assemblies.
• Background in a lab, R&D, manufacturing, or electronics environment.
• Hands-on experience with common hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly on hardware systems, PCBs, and server rack equipment.
• Set up and execute power, performance, and validation testing activities.
• Support troubleshooting and debugging of pre-production CPU/GPU platforms.
• Maintain and service liquid-cooling infrastructure, including cooling distribution units (CDUs).
• Keep the lab organized, safe, and operational while proactively addressing lab needs.
