Job summary

Delta Personnel, Inc. is assisting a client in recruiting an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team.

This role covers a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, institutional, municipal, and public infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to develop innovative, energy-efficient building system solutions while owning projects through the design process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience designing electrical or mechanical building systems in a consulting environment.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, municipal, or public infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with engineering design software; AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices.
• Experience preparing construction documents, specifications, and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate electrical and mechanical building systems for diverse projects.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Perform field investigations and existing-condition assessments.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, utility providers, and project teams.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs; support commissioning and construction administration.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget.
• Build client relationships and assist with proposals and business development.
