Job summary

Expert Staffing West is seeking experienced Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers A/B to join a long-term manufacturing project starting the second week of August. Under limited supervision, you will perform complex electrical and mechanical assembly on products, subassemblies, wire harnesses, and related manufacturing builds.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to read technical documentation, and committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Experience with wire harness assembly, soldering, crimping, and electrical testing preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Build electrical cable assemblies and wire harnesses, including crimping, wiring, bundling, terminating, soldering, and testing.
• Conduct electrical ring-out, testing and troubleshooting of assemblies.
• Perform mechanical assembly, including hardware installation, component fit-up, and use of hand and power tools.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Perform rework and repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Comply with all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
