Job summary

Astronics seeks an Electrical and Mechanical Assembler to build, test, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components in a manufacturing setting. You will follow 3D models, schematics, and work instructions to assemble and verify products, with attention to quality and safety.

This role offers on-the-job training and growth within Astronics Test Systems, with teamwork, hands-on learning, and documentation responsibilities to ensure traceability and compliance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical assembly is a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical or mechanical assembly processes and tools; on-the-job training provided.
• Experience with CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or Fusion) is a plus.
• 3D printing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to 3D models, work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform wiring, soldering, crimping, and basic mechanical assembly as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect assembled products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
