Responsibilities

• Splice wires and solder connections to fixtures and equipment.
• Diagnose or repair problems with electronic equipment in motor vehicles.
• Inspect, test, and install electrical systems to locate malfunctions using voltmeters and other instruments.
• Run new electrical cables.
• Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment with electric drills.
• Replace and clean electrical components.
• Remove seats, carpeting, and interiors; install sound-absorbing material; reinstall interior parts.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures with hand and power tools.
• Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical wiring and equipment.
• Plan, layout, and installation of wiring and fixtures per job specs and local codes.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment, ensuring compliance with codes.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems to locate the cause of a breakdown and fix it.
• Other duties as needed to meet Production requirements.

• Remove seats, carpeting, and interiors of doors; add sound-absorbing material in empty spaces; and reinstall interior parts.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools.
• Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, using hand tools or power tools.
• Plan, layout, and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
