Job Summary

This position maintains equipment in the facility, troubleshooting and replacing parts to support beverage packaging and process operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and provide maintenance support in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical equipment.
• Follow safety protocols according to NFPA70E, OSHA, EPA, FDA, and company policies.
• Reduce unplanned downtime through effective troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs, including disassembling and reassembling machinery.
• Perform major equipment overhauls, motor/gearbox replacements, valve and pump maintenance, and lubrication.
• Conduct quality, maintenance, and housekeeping checks, recording results in automated systems.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation requirements; complete work efficiently per SOPs.
• Participate in work planning using work orders and parts staging.
• Assist with process improvements and initiate changes.
• Analyze data to make decisions on maintenance and improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (not required)
• Must be 18 years old
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• 2 years of machining experience or technical/vocational training
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and climates
• Knowledge of safety policies (e.g., lock out/tag out, confined space)
• Ability to read blueprints
• Welding skills (Stick, TIG, MIG)
• Knowledge of machining tools and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
• Ability to rebuild and repair gearboxes, pumps, and equipment
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
• Electrical troubleshooting experience in automated environments
