M.C. Dean is seeking a diligent Material Handler I to join our Logistics Service Center.

You will receive, count, and store materials, verify stock, and maintain accurate records while supporting equipment handling and tool control in a fast‑paced, safety‑driven environment. Responsibilities include packing/unpacking, labeling, and ensuring proper storage, while using internal systems to track stock and support project teams.

Qualifications

• Requires working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook for reporting and data tracking.
• Experience with inventory, material handling, and logistics processes in a design‑build electrical environment preferred.
• Must be able to manage consignment programs, tool control, lay down areas, and loading/unloading zones.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and count stock items and record data.
• Verify inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Pack and unpack items for stocking and storage.
• Label stock using tags and labeling equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe storage areas and ensure safety compliance.
• Determine proper storage based on stock turnover and environmental factors.
• Maintain records on stock usage and equipment handling.
• Use internal systems like Material Requisition System, Equipment Transfer System, and Procurement Mobile.
• Assist training of less experienced staff and support project teams as needed.
• Demonstrate strong MS Excel and Outlook reporting capabilities.
