Job summary

Google LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer (EME) to join the Advanced Operation Engineering team. You will evaluate designs and create processes, tools and procedures powering global infrastructure, ensuring repeatable, controlled manufacturing aligned with product specs for seamless user experiences.

In this role you will support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing and qualifying manufacturing technologies, expanding processes with Contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8 years of experience using PDM tools (SAP, Agile, Windchill).
• 8 years of experience developing technical relationships with vendors.
• Strong communication with multi-geo teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Advanced Manufacturing Engineers in the development of manufacturing process solutions and capabilities, including industry-first process definition, startup, and qualification.
• Strategize the implementation of manufacturing processes into established production and capacity planning to achieve forecast goals.
• Develop manufacturing documentation (e.g., Bills of Materials, assembly drawings, manufacturing work instructions) in support of New Product Introduction.
• Establish, deliver, and maintain manufacturing and quality processes and standards for new technologies, leveraging existing tools and processes as required.
• Collaborate with design and cross-functional engineering teams throughout NPI phases to identify value engineering opportunities and ensure manufacturability. Work closely with manufacturing partners on build readiness and process validation, solving design and manufacturing issues efficiently to meet project timelines and ensure flawless NPI launches.
