Job summary

DZYNE Technologies, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – UAS, Electrical Focus to support electro‑mechanical assemblies, avionics, and wire harnesses on the production floor in Irvine, CA. You will document processes, resolve issues, and drive improvements under AS9100 quality management.

Strong electrical skills and hands‑on manufacturing are essential. The role collaborates with technicians and design engineering to ensure manufacturability, with opportunities to contribute to fixture

Qualifications

2-3 years of manufacturing or production engineering experience.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Experience supporting technicians on the floor, including redlines and issue investigation.
Experience with first-article builds, troubleshooting, and ATP/test workflows.
Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and redline work instructions, routers, and build documentation.
Train assembly and avionics technicians on new build and test instructions.
Review preproduction drawings with Design Engineering.
Support root-cause analysis for build failures and NCRs.
Design mechanical and electrical fixtures to aid assembly and testing.
Support ATP execution and production test workflows.
Identify opportunities to improve yield and cycle time.
