Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Asheville, NC is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support production through preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical/electronic equipment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate degree in electronics, and experience with PLC (Allen-Bradley) and DCS (Foxboro I/A). This on-site role offers opportunities to grow within a global tech group.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two year associate degree in electronics or related field.
Must have satisfactorily completed at least one mechanical course and one maintenance training course on pneumatic, hydraulics, HVAC, steam or heat transfer systems and mechanical drive systems, and one course on PLC (Allen-Bradley) and DCS (Foxboro I/A).
Five (5) years of satisfactory on-the-job experience in the electrical maintenance field or equivalent technical training course work.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician provides maintenance support to production, including preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of complex electrical and electronic equipment and distribution systems involving electrical and mechanical work of a broad nature.
