Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation in Warwick, RI is seeking an Electrical Technician to manage electrical work in the manufacture, installation, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems. You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical and pneumatic processes, read drawings, install conduit, and support plant production with electrical upgrades.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology and 2–4 years of related experience, plus state licensure or certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical schooling in electrical technology.
• Two to four years of related experience.
• State electrician licensure or certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform routine and non-routine work on mechanical systems as needed.
• Install conduit, EMT, PVC, panel boards and related fittings for power, heat and light.
• Work from blueprints and wiring diagrams; read and modify diagrams as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to wiring and control systems.
