Job summary

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of electrical experience.
  • Understanding and ability to adhere to safety procedures.
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems on equipment, and change contact tips.
  • Ability to use meters, wrenches and sockets, basic hand tools, hydraulic and pneumatic hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical work and preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment.
  • Repair cranes, starters, conveyer belts, single phase and three phase motors, and other equipment.
  • Install breakers, light fixtures, wiring, outlets, and other electrical equipment per blueprints and job orders.
  • Document all work completed and materials used.
