Job summary
Lucas-Milhaupt Inc is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to keep our Warwick, RI production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will diagnose control issues, support upgrades, and work with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve overall reliability.
Expect hands-on PLC and VFD work, safety-system management, induction heating and melting knowledge, and the ability to read electrical schematics.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with electrical control responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with induction heating/melting is a plus.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and collaborative mindset.
- Strong communication skills to lead cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve electrical control issues to improve uptime.
- Support upgrades and troubleshooting for production equipment.
