Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Bridgeton, NJ is seeking a maintenance technician focused on electrical and control systems for food manufacturing equipment. You will maintain documentation, diagnose issues, and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts to ensure production reliability.

The role requires experience with electrical/control systems, reading schematics, and familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi platforms. On-site work with safety and GMP adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• High school or military training with practical field experience in machine and electrical control systems installation.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software; preventive maintenance software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control-related issues.
• Provide training and coordinate activities of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained according to the production schedule.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections safely while equipment is operational.
• Address corrective, preventive, or scheduled repairs during downtime per specs.
• Complete tasks following government regulations, GMP, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Maintain secondary systems: steam, water, pneumatics, electrical power, refrigeration, HVAC, emissions control.
• Keep accurate work records per work orders, backlog, and job assignments.
