Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on manufacturing equipment. You will work with experienced teams to keep production lines running and safe.

Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, reading drawings and schematics, selecting materials, and using standard electrical tools and meters.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment with CNC machines and mechanical presses preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience welding, sheet metal fabrication and pipe fitting.
• Ability to read hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic blueprints and schematics.
• Good communication and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Support production operations for maintenance tasks.
• Select materials and use electrical hand tools and measuring devices.
• Diagnose equipment issues and apply repair methodologies.
• Work from drawings and specifications; perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and adhere to procedures.
