Reporting To

Production Engineering Manager

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Oversees execution of routine and special maintenance of testing and validation equipment.
  2. Collaborates with the Engineering team to define maintenance plans for new testing equipment and consults on improving reliability, maintainability, and safety of existing equipment.
  3. Performs regular calibrations of test equipment (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).
  4. Manages and updates technical documentation and maintains detailed calibration records and work instructions.
  5. Resolves major technical, equipment, or facilities issues to enhance production line performance.
  6. Maintains tools and repairs equipment to ensure good working condition.
  7. Proposes improvement projects to reduce maintenance needs and optimize operational and energy efficiency.
  8. Responds promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, and malfunctions to minimize production disruptions.
  9. Performs preventative maintenance on testing and validation equipment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Preferred: 2-year associate degree in electrical technology or related fields.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical theory, PLC, automation, AC/DC circuits, power/control circuits, NFPA 70E, low/high voltage.
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal).
  • Must have valid work authorization for employment in the US with ABB.
