Job summary

Tarrant County is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to care for county buildings, performing preventive maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.

You will plan and execute building projects, supervise contractors when needed, and ensure safety and compliance. A high school diploma and two years of maintenance experience are required, along with a valid driver's license. Reliable flexibility for shifts may be needed.

Physical Demands And Work Environment & Other Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to climb, walk, lift, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, push and pull. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and/or electrical hazards. Exposed to outside weather conditions on an occasional basis. This position may require overtime, rotating shifts nights, evenings, weekends and holiday work. Candidates must have the ability to pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment.
