Job summary

Donaldson Company is seeking a hands-on Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and electrical control systems across our production environment.

You'll diagnose electrical control problems, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure a safe, clean work area. Preferred candidates have PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Two+ years in industrial maintenance technician role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical control problems, motors, starters, relays, sensors, switches, and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Repair and maintain presses, production machinery, conveyors, pumps, motors and other industrial equipment.
• Read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Use electrical test equipment such as multimeters and meters.
• Identify the root cause of equipment installation, modification, and improvements.
• Maintain a safe, and clean and organized work area.

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The right person will be comfortable troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and electrical control systems.

Role Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
• Diagnose electrical control problems, motors, starters, relays, sensors, switches, and control circuits
• Troubleshoot PLC's, VFDs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Repair and maintain presses, production machinery, conveyors, pumps, motors and other industrial equipment
• Read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Use electrical test equipment such as multimeters and meters

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent experience required
• Two plus years working in an industrial maintenance technician role
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic welding/fabrication skills
• PLC Troubleshooting experience
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
