Job summary

Steelsummit Holdings is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability at our Tennessee facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and work closely with production to resolve issues and minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work on concrete surfaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Practical electrical experience, including wiring and components.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production to address equipment concerns and keep operations running.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on schedules from weekly to annual.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems to optimize performance.
• Operate workshop equipment safely with a focus on efficiency.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
