Job summary

Welch Packaging Group is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to support our production operations in Lexington, TN. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and repair production machinery to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Electrical certification preferred.
• Corrugated packaging industry experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical machinery.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Must be computer literate in a Microsoft environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company-owned machinery and equipment in proper working order.
• Perform on-call emergency repairs when needed.
• Investigate breakdowns and determine root cause of issues.
• Carry out planned improvements to machine safety and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with maintenance manager to resolve hazards and issues.
• Assist machine operators in troubleshooting and repairs.
