Job summary

Land O'Frost is hiring an experienced Maintenance Electrical Technician at our Searcy, AR plant. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment that produces our lunchmeat and specialty sausage products, keeping lines running safely and efficiently.

No degree required—hands-on electrical experience counts. You’ll work on a variety of production equipment, sharpen your electrical, controls and PLC troubleshooting skills, and have room to advance to Lead Electrical Technician and maintenance

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of electrical maintenance experience.
Minimum 1 year of industrial electrical experience.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Experience using a CMMS/work-order system.
Must be able to work weekends and overtime as required.
Good communication with team and supervisor.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Basic hand tools provided; additional tools supplied by Land O'Frost.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics to identify root causes.
Complete maintenance work orders and document in CMMS.
Meet with Maintenance Supervisor to review daily priorities.
Assist with bench repairs and spare-parts inventory.
Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and operating costs.
Recommend process and equipment improvements.
Assist in emergency plant situations and follow safety/GMP procedures.
