Job summary

Land O'Frost is hiring a Sanitation Technician in Searcy, AR. You will break down, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment to keep lines food-safe. Training provided on chemical safety, Lockout/Tagout, and HAZMAT/HAZCOM.

No degree required, strong safety focus, and a chance to grow within a long-standing food manufacturing family. The role involves hands-on cleaning, equipment setup support, and adherence to SSOP/HACCP standards, with a 3rd shift and a starting pay of $16.85–$19.40

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and carry out supervisor directions.
• No allergies to cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to obtain licenses for jacks and lifts.
• Complete chemical safety training and Lockout/Tagout (authorized level).
• Complete and understand HAZMAT and HAZCOM training.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Break down, disassemble, and reassemble production equipment.
• Perform sanitation procedures on equipment in your area following SSOP.
• Clean equipment using chemicals at the correct strength to prevent injury or damage.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections before the crew leader's inspection.
• Report equipment inadequacies or damage to supervisor.
• Swab equipment and collect microbial samples as required.
• Document SSOP, HACCP, and other food safety records.
• Learn procedures for new equipment in the department.
• Assist in keeping storage areas clean and organized.
• Monitor sanitation equipment during operation to ensure proper function.
